Reports are today suggesting that United are looking into signing Oldham forward Lee Hughes.
The forward, who has previously played for WBA and Coventry was jailed in 2004 for causing death by dangerous driving.
More on this later.
Edit - And now it's later and the Gaffer has confirmed that that any move for Hughes is a no go, as the player is still under contract with Oldham.

Dunno about the wages, maybe would have been a stumbling block but as it is, the any move is now off so, maybe a chance missed, maybe not...
